It is a fairly long hike, but an easy hike which makes it moderate overall; and if you dont look down you might fall into the canyon because you dont see it until you get there where then it turns strenuous, not so much going down into the canyon, but coming out where if you wandered around too much before climbing nearly straight up and out. If you do what I did then a 7.5 mile hike turns into an 11.25 mile hike because when you take the long looop back to the campsite you get real tired and sleep through most o f the next day and wake up feeling like youve had golf balls implanted in your legs, back and arm muscles. All things said and done, Id probably do it again but I am so very, very glad I took so many pictures that I wont have to. digital-desert/lost-palms-oasis/
