It is a great shock when we are suddenly thrust into a lifestyle - TopicsExpress

It is a great shock when we are suddenly thrust into a lifestyle or situation where our comforts are missing: its painful until we adjust, then we forget. Most of us are heavily reliant on food markets, hospitals/medical centers, dentistry, Internet devices, theaters, government services, Starbucks/restaurants, department stores, distributed water/sewer/electrical/gas systems, telephone and satellite services (GPS/communications), waste disposal, paved roads, cars/trucks/motorcycle/bicycles, the list goes on. Also, many people do not want to know about the origination of our packaged meat, therefore butchering is not a common word today, yet we buy meat in various forms to eat and think nothing of it. Farming is a visit to some place in the country, a kind of entertainment-tour for the kids or a romantic get-a-way. Do we observe the killing of a cow, sheep or chicken? Not likely, no, we gravitate to the fenced-field where live animals are grazing. Point is, that we maintain our cherished corporate/societal concepts by avoiding the reality of food production for the masses. At the level of regular folk, our societies seem to be divided into providers and buyers where our food-needs are seamlessly provided by corporate middle-man. We are unpleasantly surprized when our favorite food is not available and the food store worker is profusely apologetic explaining that: it will be here next week. The flow of food over the highways, air and oceans is generally constant, organized and scheduled so as to keep the money flowing in our economies and an interruption of supply is a reality check. Universally, there is no knowledge of the field-worker or the farm manager and his family and no recognition of his or her loss when a death in the family occurs; no, the system has to keep grinding on: people and souls are unknown, forgotten to make that next buck. Government services are worse, but the clock keeps ticking and nothing gets done to care for the unprivileged and the poor. Who is it that is responsible? We dont know for the din of finger-pointing. Yet all this is due to crash and burn, for only the best value can be forth-coming in such a mess. The Pole-Shift will bring an end to all this with a massive and short event, yet it will bring a new life to those who survive: a wind of fresh air to those gasping for freedom. Borders and fences will fall against the need to barter, trade and see the whites of the eyes of others who desire the same as we do. Human life will finally again be that of the core-values that require sweat, work and skill in a trade long forgotten by the descendants of city-dwellers. Soap-making, butchering, farming/livestock management, sewing/tailoring, tree-falling, black-smithing, log home building, rock-masons; all these skills/trades will become prized and appreciated. The adjustment will be difficult, many will protest in their ways to the new world and some will die to escape it, but for those who embrace it, it will be a great liberation of body and Soul.
