It is a natural law to have companion and is a moral law to maintain one-man-one-woman relationship. But it is a human right to choose to live single or stay married, depending on who we come across in life. My doctor advice: Plane crashes have not prevented pilots to stop being a pilot. Yes indeed, a crash in relationship have not prevented furhur relationships, or prevented anybody from making the choices to stay single. In the end, it is about giving and taking. A willing person to give will receive while an unwilling person to give will not receive. On why Linda Ronstadt never got married; The culture supports serial monogamy, and I think I had plenty of that, and I think I was reasonably monogamous in a serial way. But Im not a good compromiser. I think I dont have the knack for that kind of compromise. I admire peoples marriages, and I think its a wonderful thing to have, but I dont think its the only way to live. I think there are many ways to live and many ways to establish intimate support in your life that can be from family or friends or great roommates that you like. It doesnt have to be someone youre sleeping with. I figured that out pretty early on; that was sort of how I felt. I was trying to sing; I was never trying to get married. I think you have to be pretty deliberate about getting married.
