It is a pity that Kenyan Parliament has votted to pull the country - TopicsExpress

It is a pity that Kenyan Parliament has votted to pull the country from the membership of ICC. Its irony surrounds the current indictments of the Kenyan president and his vice. Although this intent doesnt affect the ongoing case of humanity in The Hague, when implimented , the next president of the republic can hold the office like the likes of Mugabe and more as , nobody in the country can raise a voice . Internationally the president will never be accountable . The next president will clanse , displace and kill any political disent with impunity and will be sad for all.A rowdy country without any international moral checks and balances is dead country , especially when all the government appointments are given on ethnic grounds. Neighbours have a way of influencing one another. It appears that Kenyan Parliament envy the Somali way of doing things , where the will of the strong is the law and the war lords can never be held accountable for their attrocities against their fellow humans. The Kenyan society shares also the blame in their silence on this act by the parliament. Remember that your silence can be detrimental to the freedom of your future generations.
