It is a shame that in a few hours, one man took so much a away - TopicsExpress

It is a shame that in a few hours, one man took so much a away from our city with his actions. Not only did he take the lives of 3 RCMP officers, he took the cities feeling of security. As an example of this, the other night I opened my car door using the remote, not anything out of the ordinary, done it a thousand times. Two women were out talking next door, when they heard the click of the lock opening one of them let out a scream. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the men and women of the RCMP who work so hard to protect our city. We will not forget the men who gave their lives that fateful night, Const. David Ross, Const. Douglas James Larche and Const. Fabrice Georges Gevauden will be remembered as heros. As a city, we will heal, it will not be overnight, it may take several months, but we will heal. As people we will also heal I just hope that it will not take long for us to get our sense of security back. Chris Maxwell, Moncton, N.B.
