It is absolutely amazing how things work out...went to go for a training run in the park & not even a mile in I saw signs for the 5K race for ALS. I stopped running & signed up knowing it was a run in memory of my friends mom. (Jeff Smith, Karen Smith, & Zach Smith) I ended up taking overall female winner (guess all the training is paying off!) & as a result got interviewed by the newspaper & was able to get surprising exposure for the MS Run the US relay without even telling the reporter my donation website...God works in mysterious ways!
