.It is acceptable to be patriotic for your country but not to be patriotic against another people or country I have seen too many comments in groups in regard to Germany , the war and the Greek Elections which confirmed that some politicians have exploited a dangerous sense of patriotism to win elections. Its very bad when a party from the radical Right is guilty of xenophobic war mongering but worse when it is a party from the Radical Left (which end up allying with them right wingers anyways as we saw today). The European Union was formed initially by the Treaty of Rome in 1957, with in mind keeping the Peace between France, Germany and other key players who have been at war too many times. The German people and Germany are our neighbours , lovers and friends and we need to figure out together how to solve problems and grow up from there.
