It is again a warm morning as my handsome, kind, gentle man, husband, and best friend, Jeffrey Harris, leaves for work. It is humid and a bit warmer than yesterday. The brilliant blue of the heavens cannot be seen through the thick layer of clouds that block the breathtaking view of dawn. Kelly Harris sleeps away this morning. She did kitchen duty last night. Kristina Gwinett and Dan Smith were over last evening. We had played cards and had dinner. Unfortunately the electric was off, but I have a GAS stove, yes dinner was hot and fresh! Fortunately, I am a very fun entertainer and as we played cards, I burst out into chorus (always watch what you say around me if it even comes close to a song lyric I know). Kelly was supposed to assist me with my gospel challenge from Jerard E. Kelley last evening, but since we (the town of Smyrna) were out of power for hours (for no apparent reason) that made all types of electronic things unavailable. It was nice to see everyone walking and riding bikes outside, sitting on their porches and doing what people did when they only had the option to use candles. Which we were using too. All is Well and We are Blessed!!
