It is almost time for our first gathering of northern priestesses in Pendle, 10-6pm Sunday November 2nd . This weekend I am collating everyone ones offerings for the day in a loose attempt to create a programme. This is how it is looking so far.. Morning 10-10.15 arrive, get tea, decorate the hall to create sacred space. 10.30 calling in the directional Goddesses of the wheel of Avalon (Sue) Talking Circle. Building the altar, bringing ourselves and our intentions to the circle. Honouring the beauty of life in death, celebrating the turning year, our loved ones that have passed over and the energy of the crone. Including perhaps a meeting the crone meditation, Samhain poems, writing, songs and honouring of our loved one that has passed over (please bring a photo or object to show and tell, any poems, songs pieces of writing that you would like to share Samhain activity Making a dark feather love offering (to leave out in the land, or take home) in memory of the precious gifts our ancestors, or loved ones that have passed over have given us (Ali) all materials provided Shared lunch Afternoon Honouring the Witches of Pendle Walk, song and offerings to the land (Janice) please bring two stones or pebbles that can be banged together to create sound, and which can be left on the land as part of an offering. Tea and cake Drumming and singing circle Healing Touch relaxation in groups of three Final talking Circle plans for the future.. Close circle (sue) and clear up 6pm leave and perhaps go for a drink before returning home Please bring 1. Things that can be used to decorate the hall to make sacred space (coloured clothes, goddesses, flowers, autumn leaves, candles (although Im not sure they will be allowed) 2. a photo of someone from your blood line, or a friend who has passed over for the crone altar 3. If you have one, a drum or rattle and two stones/pebbles, other instruments that you might wish to play 4. A cushion and a blanket 5. Lunch to share and /or some cake I will bring a CD player, and a central altar cloth, sue still needs people to call in please let her know and post here if you are willing, I would also suggest that if you are calling in you bring an object to represent that direction..so far these directions are covered Bride, imbolc, maiden, northeast...Ann. Rhiannon Beltain, lover, southeast.....Ali Ker great mother, southwest....Sue Earth, banbha, west, autumn equinox...Brian and these are in need of a caller.. Danu, arianrhod, air, north, winter solstice Artha, east spring equinox, fire Water, domnu, south, summer soltice Keridwen crone, northwest, Samhain And The Lord and Lady of the centre The programme might well change, come, contribute, participate and enjoy our flow together!!!
