It is also important to remember that winning seats in parliament is just a useful tool, not an end in itself. We do not need parliament to govern us or make decisions about mining , or public transport, or redistribution of wealth for us. We own that wealth. We build that infrastructure. We can defend that land. It may be useful that the powers that represent the corporations have been triumphant. It can readily be seen that they do not speak or operate for the people of this land. We can move forward ignoring this parliament. Our goal could be to fully realise our power as people in this land in conjunction with people in every land. It is our job to save the planet. Time to stop arguing and start planning. How can we do this?
