It is always amazing to me that people who met me, but have no clue who I am, seem to think that I have a hidden agenda with what I do. I help, because thats whats in my nature. I have taken in bunches of animals throughout the last 40 years, because I connect with them (sometimes more than with humans), and try to get them into better situations than what they came out of. I am not the regular 1 cat, 1 dog woman, nor do I strive to be, just to fit into our society. I didnt decide on adopting 4 children back when, because I was hoping for the Mother Theresa award. No, I believe that every child deserves a family, and a home. And I was willing to provide that. I donate what little money I have left over for causes, that, to me, are worth supporting, no matter if for veterans, food for people in Africa, or animal shelters. Whomever thinks that I am doing those things because I want attention, cant be further from the truth. I do what I was taught to do. Love and care for one another. The only reason why I even bring that up on here is to remind certain people, that there are still folks out there, that do things just because, most times not even noticed by anyone. No hidden agenda at all. Just raised with a big heart and a healthy dosis of compassion. Some things thankfully dont change. I havent when it comes to doing what I do best.
