It is always hard for me to find the time to post on facebook, but in looking at recent messages decided to take a few minutes to write on my timeline. As all of are aware, I announced I was a candidate for National President of NARFE about a year ago. My position has not changed. I am still in the running and will be gearing up my campaign in the coming few months before the national convention in Orlando. It is my hope that I can count on support from most of you, hopefully all of you. With the proposed transition recommendations currently being circulated among our members, I believe it will take someone with experience and knowledge at all levels of NARFE. I have that experience and certainly believe that I am the best candidate to lead us into the future. It will take someone who wants to roll up her sleeves and work for more than just the survival of NARFE, but lay the foundation for a successful and flourishing organization. We can get there, but it will take aggressive strategic and tactical planning. I am up for the job!
