It is amazing how the people who seem to have nothing can provide others with so much gratitude. The homeless we have met want to work to better themselves, and we are happy to offer them that opportunity with our properties that are being rehabilitated for housing for the veterans and homeless. We as a community can learn a lot from the love and support they give one another in their tent cities. We want to give a special thank you to the following for all their donations, help, and support: Mayor Vaughn Spencer, Lawrence Berringer of BCAP, Pastor Steve McCracken, Laurie Rhodes of The Wellnes Center for Pets and Their People and friends, Kelly Coates of Neighborhood Housing Services, Community First Fund, Jon Scott of Greater Reading Economic Partnership, Pastor Wayne Rissmiller and the entire Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, Calvary United Methodist in Mohnton, Tamie Scalisie, Delia McClenden of Opportunity House, Veterans Affairs, Olivets Boys and Girls Club, Berks Council of Churches, Jerry Martin, Danny Moores Barber Shop, all the volunteers that organized and handed out foods and clothing, and everyone who donated items. Lastly and definetly not least, thank you to my wonderful wife and children whom I could not do any of this without. https://youtube/watch?v=LUVFKVhGb9A&feature=youtu.be
