It is amazing that so many people dont understand what the issues are that are fueling decades of war, and billions of dollars of foreign aid in Palestine. What if American citizens were able to use that money to rebuild America? Or resolve the issues of social unrest around the world, like at our border, other than relying on the $738.8 billion defense budget? What if we had used the estimated $4-6 trillion cost of the recent US wars for doing good, instead of destroying so much? Most of the investment of those dollars are gone, used up, vaporized. To what good? And what about the criticism towards Obama about keeping us out of more military situations? Somehow, that is seen as weakness in our culture. Oh, I am often very sad for my grandchildren, and the world our foolishness is leaving them.
