It is amazing to me all the opinions people have which they cant afford themselves, so much to say about each other only not to their own faces. So much thought of right and wrong while unable to justify the course of their own feet or the sickness in their own heart from which they speak. Were they not only defiling themselves by looking upon anothers distress in judgement, were they not only seeking a temporary reprieve from the knowledge of their own wickedness to stop and stare while another falls? And when he falls they gratify themselves with the thought that it was his evil nature which tripped him, just as they had expected. They told you so. They had hoped for the best they will say though in this they remained silent until they had license to bring wickedness and judgement from the deepest places in their hearts under the guise of Love. Strange that their hopes were never heard but their judgements are ceaseless though they pour them from an empty vessel. How you hesitated when you saw your neighbor stumble, how swift were your feet when you hurried to see the full impact of the fall. Your own words and deeds your gossip, backbiting, slander, accusations have been held in the private chambers of your heart until now. Is it not because for a moment someone elses, foolishness has distracted you from your own? We are not meant to destroy each other like this. Yet men pass away and the living have only the echoes of empty words their own lives fail to fill to assure them they are right. But it is not the adversary who consumes the flesh of the fallen, rather it is those of his own house. Which is more wicked then? That he fell, or that those who dine upon his carcass in secrecy have been silent though they claim they saw it all along? Surely you only see yourself, is this not why you are so vexed at the state of the fallen whom you look down upon? Enjoy your moment.
