It is amazing to me that religious people, primarily Christians can close their eyes to the atrocities that are committed in the name of their cult, claim the moral high ground then take offense to simple speech, because it conflicts with their superstitious views. We are not entitled to revere and respect your bronze age beliefs just because you think we should. Every non theist has the right to be offended by the debauchery and wholesale genocide carried out in the name of religion, we also have the right not to be intimidated by those who would claim offense yet ignore the disgusting acts perpetrated by their own "flock" on a daily basis.
