It is an Indisputable fact the my home state, Adamawa State is among the less performing states in Federation during the past four years in terms of education; in terms of social development and general infrastructure. Adamawa State is blessed with abundant active human and diversified natural resources that are enough to put the state on top on the list of most powerful states of the Federation. Adamawa State is proud of having a plethora of academic intellectuals in various institution across Nigeria and in diaspora; gigantic number of animals of high economic importance such as cattle, sheep and goats; abundant natural resources such as minerals and rivers; good vegetation and fertile soil suitable for all crops; many landmarks, historical sites, colourful culture that are of beneficial to tourism industry. The most encouraging aspect is the fact that, Adamawa was known for it peaceful coexistence among it diversified ethnic groups coupled with the fact that the state was bestowed with people of high calibre who had occupied various top positions in government such as, Vice President, Ministers, Ambassadors, Inspector General of Police etc However, the most most irksome aspect in tackling the numerous problems facing Adamawa State despite all these palpable advantages, the state was and still experiencing political instability and confusion here and there. Enough is enough, let us join hands and ponder on how best to salvage our state, our fatherland, our pride, our heritage and our only landed property that we hope to leave back for our children and grand children from these cancerous problems that has deeply eaten our systems to the core. So, it better for us to plan well what kind of Adamawa we hope to leave for our younger generation so that can be save from their castigation and condemnation after our demise from this world, and instead earn their unflinching and untiring prayers, praises and commendation. Now, whether we like it or not, our future destination solely depends on our last and ultimate weapon - our votes which I terms as our last HOPE. Therefore, please let us use our votes to vote for a right candidate without attaching party, religion and ethnic sentiment that will later be deterrent to our development and fight against poverty, disunity and under development in Adamawa State. Long live Adamawa State.
