It is an honest truth that there is a correlation between the way we feel about ourselves and the way we feel about others. If we are at peace with ourselves.......if we like ourselves.......we will get along with others. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself (Ephesians 5:28) Though this piece of Scripture talks about marriage, it also applies to everyday relationships as well. The opposite may also be said; if we are ashamed, embarrassed or angry with ourselves, we will likely treat others detrimentally. So, what should we do if we feel that way about ourselves? How do we get help? Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give ye rest (Matthew 11:28)
