It is an honor to post my pride in Parkwood High School. I am a 1967 graduate and continue to live in the Parkwood community that I have called home for my entire life. changes in ones life is inevitable and many changes took place during my four years of high school. Integration of students from Western Union High School to Parkwood was the most significant of all. It was a monumental change that required the parents and students to demonstrate a respect for each other and a desire to continue to put their childs education above all else. Because of this it was a success that resulted in life long friends even until today. As for my career path... A graduated of UNCC, Masters from Appalachian and Doctoral in Educational Administration from UNCC. My love for my alumni and my community remains as strong today as it did 46 years ago. Looking forward to reading other Pride Posts.
