It is another sad day for Wendy Chirgwin and Maree Stringer at Calais Miniatures who had to say goodbye to little Brandy one of our beloved dogs aged 12 who had be fighting a kidney diesease for the last 12 months. Little Brandy or Band aid as we called her here as no matter how bad things were she would always make you feel a whole heap better. Brandy hung on and waited until the other mumma god home and then just passes away this afternoon. She sill be sadly missed by her doggie family her sister Bundy, her Auntry Honey, her proctetor Buddy, her best friend Tiny and of course the thorn in her side Misha Brandy you where the most funniest puppy that we every had always having something to say you will be sadly missed and also dearly loved go and run free and have fun with Bear and Aunty Val Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable All the animals that have been ill and old are restored to health and vigour; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and time gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance, their bright eyes are intent: their eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, they begin to run from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying them faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again, The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of you pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….
