It is apparent now more than ever with this most recent shutdown of the United States government that we rely on and are ruled by the dollar. If our economy were more rooted in helping one another through bartering, there would be less reliance on currency and a stronger more close knit nation. We are supposedly a nation of the people by the people for the people. In order for this to stand true we add a nation must take a stand and take control of or country back from big corporations and Washington DC lobbyists, one way we can do this is to attack the dependency on the dollar. Bartering is a way to show or government that we as a nation can rely on each other for goods and services and their continued abuse of power will not bring this country down. I will be building a website that will allow people to search their area for people who are weeklong to perform services for services or exchange goods for goods or any combination.
