It is approx. 830am on Christmas Eve and I am sitting beside my father while he sleeps in the ICU unit of hospital. My dad and I have been discussing this positive mentality for the past 3 months I will spend Christmas here in the hospital with him 😊. But it is already the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER. My dad and I have been able to bond on on a level that we have never bonded on before. When he fully recovers we will be an unstoppable duo. All the thing that we have discussed over the past 3 months about our family business will come true. My dad is the one that told me. There are no problems in life, there is only opportunities for improvement so we are both taking this opportunity to better ourself as people. When I was in the 7th grade I was suspended from school for 1 day. I punched a kid in the chest because I didnt like what he said. Ironically my dad walked in the office as I as in the assistant principles office as I was being suspended. I was crying because I was upset at myself for stooping down to the kids level. My dad sat down beside me and told me words that I will never forget. He said, Why are you still crying? Whats done is done and cannot be changed. All you can do now is take your punishment and make sure you have learned what not to do next time. Now, stop crying and walk out of here like a man. I have never forgot those exact words. My dad and I are having the best time of our life RIGHT NOW because it is the next day and we are both living in the moment. So when you think you are having a bad day or you think life is unfair. Just remember there are 2 men in ICU SITTING BESIDE EACH OTHER ON CHRISTMAS EVE HAVING THE TIME OF THEIR LIFE. ❤️❤️ Peace ( and I really mean it)
