It is atrocious, beyond any imagery of common thought, that the republican representatives to congress, can make every attempt to hold the entire political process hostage to their whims and, desires. This type of political hamstringing by the leadership of the republican membership of the house, has gone on session after session with the conclusion being, concessions to their political maneuvering being granted by the President of the United States. It does not seem to matter what the will of the people may mandate or desire, it is poll numbers that seemingly influence the position of the republican platform. Although, reciting of poll numbers by the various polling agencies, do not reflect in their entirety the thoughts or desires of a true cross section of all of the American populace. What communities of color have been included in these poll searches? What inner city neighborhoods have been included in the poll results? How are poll questionnaires being formatted for inner city residents, if at all. The healthcare act is a big deal for many people, within the communities of color all across American, where the high cost of healthcare or, the absence of any affordable healthcare coverage is of major concern especially, for single parent households with children and, seniors. Mr. Ted Cruz is a voice, that I am sure does not represent any of his constituents that reside in poorer communities or, have real life issues with the high cost of healthcare Insurance coverage for their families. This whole republican argument, is not about the real cost of healthcare issues for the 30-40 million Americans who go without healthcare insurance coverage, it is to further thwart the political agenda of President Obama and, any success that can be contributed to his Presidency. Where are the voices of the American public? Where are the cries of outrage? Where is the national media to hear the actual voices of the members of the communities of color who, do not agree with the republican agenda or, these associated poll numbers. It is time for the American public to be heard, not politicians. National media needs to cover the real voices of those most concerned with the issues pertaining to the healthcare act, those that it really will apply to, not the republican caucus.
