Yes we must repent/ change our way of thanking and remission our sins Luke 24:47 (KJV) And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations , beginning at Jerusalem. But that should not be are focus we are to be god Conscience not sin Conscience! We are to let Christ life in uS through us and out of us! Not focus so much on are on power and works to make us right! Zechariah 4:6 (KJV) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Its like telling a child to not do something its going to do what you told it not too becouse now you got it thanking on it! Same way with religion and condemning, telling people not to do this sin and that your puting the thought in the mind instead of on Christ and his goodness! Therefore a believer walks around defeated, down, sick, etc! Galatians 2:20-21 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. [21] I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Also our faith is not even our own it is a gift from god Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. You are priests of the king, you are holy and pure you are Gods very own all this so that you may show to others how God has called you out of the darkness into his wondrous light 1 peter 2:9 living bible paraphrased! So realize Jesus loves you and is not condemning you! Rise up and hear his call take you identity as gods child be the very image of Jesus on this earth! As he is so are we in this world 1 John 4:17 (KJV) Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
