It is critically important to ones health that ALL unfermented soy products be removed from the diet. The book The Whole Soy Story, references thousands of studies linking unfermented soy to digestive distress, reproductive disorders, infertility, heart disease and cancer. Research has linked soy consumption specifically to breast cancer, brain damage, infant abnormalities, thyroid disorders, kidney stones, immune-system impairment, severe and potentially fatal food allergies, impaired fertility and danger during pregnancy and nursing. One shocking note is that 91% of the soy grown in the U.S. is GENETICALLY MODIFIED (GM). The GM soy contains genes from bacteria that produce a protein that has never been part of the human food supply. GM soy has been linked to an increase in allergies. A human study showed that consuming GM soy foods verified that the gene inserted into the GM soy transfers into the DNA of our gut bacteria and continues to function. This means that years after one stops eating GM soy, it is still possible to have potentially allergic protein continuously being produced in the intestine. The GM soy can withstand being drenched with ROUND UP (a weed killer) with no detrimental effect to the soy plant. Of course, the soybean is loaded with this toxin. Both the GM soy and ROUND UP are products of the Monsanto Corporation. One begins to wonder if there is a connection been the FDAs complete disregard of the HIGHLY TOXIC GM soy and Monsanto!
