It is definitely humid here in the southeast! As far as mold and mildew go, we have been here 5 years and have not seen any on any part of our home. Even so, we have taken steps above and beyond to be proactive to inhibit such. We may also not be building naturally, and have used concrete, but I never claimed to be a natural builder....but my home IS building permit ready and supported by building inspectors....anyone that wants to see for themselves can come anytime you want...lots off love to ALL sustainable builders, everywhere. Wish folks would look at the big picture and stop spreading fear and negativity, arent we all trying to make an impact to promote better than the norm....? Doing my best to bring more sustainable structures to the masses, and our model is a good one considering supermassive and earthbags arent supported by regulators....
