It is difficult at times to stay in the now, to not dwell on the past or poke around in an imagined future. There is a reality that I must cling to daily, there is a God and Im not Him. I heard that many years ago from an old timer who experienced a great deal of life on lifes terms without resorting to poor choices or self destructive emotional decisions. Things seem to change, in spite of my preferences, on pretty much a daily basis. There are changes taking place right now in my world that could affect my families future. I have a tendency to awful-ize when I am insecure about how things are going to turn out when changes take place. The real truth is that I have experienced 66 + years of life and even when things were tough, it has turned out to be good. I thank God for the people in my life, my dear Connie, my close and wonderful friends and for all of the gifts that I receive each day. Today I will believe that everything is OK, not that it will be. Right here, right now, life is good. To all who are struggling, this too shall pass. Trust the process, lean into the pain and get through it. There are a thousand old positive sayings that cover this concept believe them, they are the truth. I wish you all Peace, hope and love in the times to come.
