It is difficult to love those who hate you, its even a greater different story if those who hate you pretend to love you. They smile with you while they are coniving evil about you. They show you a smile that hides crocodile teeth behind. Their hugs have knives behind your back. These are the people we sing with at choir, preach with at church, fellowship in our services, work with in our respective ministries and the most painful thing is the fact that you ask yourself,whats the wrong that youve done that they cant forgive? My friend be encouraged that: 1. Not everyone will love you. 2. Not everyone will be happy for you. 3. Not everyone will be on your side. 4. You need a Judas in your life. 5. Also Peter and James. 6. Over and above all, Christ is on your side. Pray for those who persecute you, for God to have mercy on them and to open their eyes as well. 7. Yours is to forgive and ask the Holy Spirit for strength to help you continue loving even when you dont feel like it. Matthew 5:44 NLT But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!
