It is fraud to use tax payers money to sponsor Christians and Moslems to Jerusalem and Mecca. What about the adherents of Hindu, Budha, Hare Krishna and others? Why are they not sponsored to Asia for their pilgrimage? Dont they pay tax? Some say Christianity and Islam are the main religions and the best. Fine, religion is an individual affair between man and God, and its relative. Taxes are not paid for individual affairs, but for things that are beneficiary to all. Further more Christianity and Islam are not the same, though they have very few similarities. We should not deceive ourselves that both religions are equal and lead to God. God is not an author of confusion. He cannot have different ways leading to him. It is sad that the more they go to Jerusalem and Mecca to pray for Nigeria, the more corruption multiplies. Everyone that wants to go to Jerusalem or Mecca, should sponsor themselves. After all the only holy land is heaven. Are there no sins in Jerusalem and Mecca?
