It is getting colder outside and the wind is slowly stripping the trees of their leaves as they are getting ready for winter. I loaded my pipe with 50/50 Dunhill Flake and Peterson Old Dublin like I said I would a few posts ago. It resulted in the perfect autumn smoke here on my balcony on the fifth floor. Strangely enough, the colder I got the more comfortable it was. Having the pipe there as a close friend to enjoy the silence while watching the leaves fall and people with their umbrella walking by, casting long shadows in the light of a lamp post. An inspiring event to say the least. The description of which is a feeble attempt to capture in words what one feels at a moment like that.
