It is going to be increasingly difficult to attract outstanding students to pursuing careers in the medical field. This is because it is still an extremely difficult process to become a physician and with government reimbursement being rather meager it is difficult to repay a six figure student debt and afford a mortgage in addition to ones regular cost of living expenses. Obamacare has imposed upon the physicians requirement to participate in the electronic medical records which in some cases they dont have so must purchase and implement that platform. This adds even more expenses on top of malpractice insurance, rent, personnel, and other costs of doing business. But that is actually the most minor part of the problem . The real issue is the loss of value in our economy. Many brilliant people are not satisfied with a position of automaton at the beckoning call of a nebulous bureaucrat. The result and shortage of health-care providers will create a nightmare of a situation for everyone , when we started with only 15 percent of the population needed a solution for health-care. This is a perfect example of what happens when the government imposes itself on the free market, which will hopefully serve as a lesson to the American people.
