It is good to realize, that a real career passion, takes an undetermined amount of work. Its not one precise hour in the studio, nor just one evening of programming, nor a first attempt at the perfect recipe, nor just one morning of a ten mile run. It is rather, the incessant repitition of techniques, thoughts, words and laborious movements that take us to that place that we call career success. It also takes a resiliance to handle the criticism and judgement that is put forth, sometimes by the ones we love the most. And......Sometimes it is we who judge and criticize our own selves, too much. But, in the end, most of our critics become our fans, even as we have at times been the critics ourselves. Because, how can we not be touched by such dedication and cumulative development? Lesson: 1. A vision is not a microwave dinner. 2. Be your own best fan. 3. Have patience with those whose eyesight does not allow them to see your vision.
