It is great news for ethnic nationalities. A new peace center for ethnic nationalities will opens in Chiang Mai. So far Burmese government has upper hand in the peace process in terms of technical assistants, advices, and guidances from Myanmar Peace Center (MPC) while ethnic armed organizations do not have those kinds of helps. Moreover, million of US dollars poured into MPC from foreign donors to support government peace agenda. This new peace center is very important to provide helps to ethnic nationalities in this historic peace process.
