It is great to honor and celebrate with the people that celebrate where you are now. It is a great feeling to share space with people that have been a part of your successful journey. After all, it is just good to feel appreciated. The company of your cohorts when receiving the honors and awards is great; however, these people oftentimes dont last if your success doesnt. Be very careful not to dismiss the people that were with you before you got there and would still be with you had you never made it. Its easy to forget those that dreamed with you and fed you when you invested all of your money into your future. They made sure you had food when you stopped by the house and an encouraging word when you wanted to quit. The lesson in it all is this: Dont forget the people that prayed over you, cried with you, laughed with you, told you when you were wrong, encouraged you when you were down and loved you just because you are you. To my home team, those that started out with me in ministry, school, on the circuit or wherever else, THANKS! I appreciate the lessons you taught when I wasnt even that teachable. I appreciate the love you showed when I didnt think I was that lovable. There is a reward here in the earth for you! Thank you ALL! #LIFELINE (my private moment in a public place)
