It is hard for most people to understand why we dont have school if there is ice on the roads so I figured I might point something out. Blufton University had a bus accident in 2007, where the damages were spread over numerous parties (state and bus charter company) despite that, every insurance company involved paid out the max of their insurance policy. I know most of us dont like to think in terms of dollars but schools and anyone with that responsibility must. If a school bus were to wreck they could potentially injure 40 or more kids and no insurance policy can cover that amount of money. Seriously people do some research you might understand there are things more important than extending the school year by a few days.
