It is hard to believe that an Economist PM and an Emminent Lawyer cum Econmist who were Prime Minister and Finance Minister repectively implemented 6th pay scale. During same period entire world and companies were going for COST CUTTING while in India salaries were hiked. They could have waited till the recession ends. News media and Journalist too played a biased and negative role, they created an environment where they focused more on current scenario rathar than projecting the possible impact on economy. India is facing the heat of those wrong decision taken in 2008 on our economy today for the personal sake of Congress party in 2009 elections. Congress won but economy looses battle.
