It is hard to believe that it has been 2 years since I went down, 911 came and off to a trauma center I went. With the amazing love of those around me a few days later I came off life support fighting. Strength.... it is a thing that not all people have. I am not one of those people. I can only die once and best believe it will never go down without a fight. But today I want to remember all the women who did not find their strength and it cost them the ultimate price. It took a dear friend to open my eyes yet again.... He reminded me that love can do miraculous things. Nothing materialistic will bring that happiness. If you or someone you know is victim of domestic violence do not assume they have the strength to get away. Help in any way you can, call the authorities, remind them that there is nothing in their houses more valuable then their own life... except the life of their children. GET OUT! He will not change. How was is worded to me??? Sweet and sour sauce.... that is what he said moments of hell broken up with a few moments of sweetness. It is an act. It is not real. Believe that. And believe that it goes both way.... women are also abusive. No matter what the circumstance is get up and get out and never look back. Please today take a moment of silence to remember those who have been killed as a result of domestic violence. It must stop. Those of you who remain silent are just as guilty as the abuser. May the rest in peace. All of them......
