It is here where picnic-goers from Northern Tabuk District (NTD) would say Manong, para dita igid. Then we would go down by the narrow opening at the side of the bridge (which kept changing, according to the mood of Calanan people, I guess)... only to find out that Southern Tabuk District (STD) people would already be down there below, occupying the best site, fire burning, chicken roasting, first kuatro kantos almost done. We would fight anywhere - at the basketball court, at the Double A dancefloor, at the provincial meet, at the Tabuk Gym rampahan for Ms Tabuk and Ms Kalinga-Apayao (Michelle, Sandra, etc.) at the Dangwa/Greenland pila... but NTD and STD young people always shared the waters of Pasunglao. Walang away. Chico River did that.
