It is important to know how God reveals His secrets to the believers today. Apparently there were things that He either didnt teach and knew that the Disciples didnt get that they could only receive after His death. John 16:12-13 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth. What could He have possibly meant by that promise, and how could He teach them after His death, burial, and resurrection? Jesus told Nicodemus the necessity of being born again in John 3, for Spiritual birth is necessary to see and enter into the Kingdom of God. When a believer is born of the water and Spirit, the Holy Spirit moves into that persons heart to lead, guide, and teach them all truth. Without the Holy Spirit leading, guiding and teaching us, what other source do we have to depend on to guide us? How is it possible for Gods law to be put into our minds and who writes them on our hearts? By the Holy Spirit!!! Look at Hebrews 8:10-11, then read Hebrews 10:15-16 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that He had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts (how? by the Holy Ghost) and in their minds will I write them (how? by the Holy Ghost). No wonder Jesus told His disciples to Go ye into Jerusalem and tarry until you are endued with power from on high, that power was the promise of receiving the Holy Ghost which would teach and guide them into all truth. It is a most wonderful gift given by Jesus Christ, why would anyone not want such a gift? kbm
