It is interesting how humans have the ability to make other humans feel inferior. There are catch phrases that are good to use: “Oh, I think you know that your conclusions are nonsense”, or, “I’ve encountered that way of thinking in the past, and it always makes me scoff”, or “You should be told that I have a Ph.D is Ancient Greek philosophy, so you need to better consider my way of thinking...” Sometimes these snobbish humans like to interrupt your offerings with their own take on a subject, as though yours has no merit, sometimes they just give you a cynical smile, silence, and turn or step away to talk to someone else. I have been to a party where most of the people there were attorneys, and when you admit that you are not one, there is a form of shunning, or at best, condescension. I have never understood why some, maybe not all, humans do this to each other. It does not make the snubber superior, does not give them a longer life span, does not make them more respected or admired, it just creates the desire to separate yourself totally from their presence.
