It is my firm conviction that the security of any democratic - TopicsExpress

It is my firm conviction that the security of any democratic country lies squarely in the hands of the government .Any rightfully elected government is obligated to safeguard its citizens and their property. It therefore boggles my mind to see unscrupulous individuals moving about instigating violence and nothing is being done to bring this unnecessary hullabaloo to a halt. Government officials who have been tasked with the responsibility of maintaining sanity in the country should rise up to the occasion and lower these political temperatures. Do not tell us you are aware of plans by some individuals to interfere with our security but go ahead silently and do the necessary. We are going to support you guys if whatever you are going to do will safe my life, that of my sister who lives in County number 47, my brother Josiah Khatilli who until today lives in every county, My best friend Kimani IChungwah who do work day and night for the benefit of the people of Kikuyu and Kenya at large, and not forgetting Dr Mutua- Governor Machakos County who the hot seat currently belong permanently to him. Right to assemble is enshrined in the constitution but every freedom comes with responsibility. The current political gatherings that are characterized by insensitive rhetoric are only creating ethnic tensions which might precipitate the mayhem that was witnessed in 2007/2008 post election violence. It is my humble appeal to all leaders of both political divide to desist from planting this country into anarchy. What we need as a country are re conciliatory talks and not ultimatum dialogue based on ego-centrism. We can’t sacrifice our country at the alter of self preoccupation in the guise of fighting for the rights of the common man. I support the government in its efforts to restore peace in our country but at the same time requesting for more to be done. So many lives have been lost in the hands of terror. We need to up our game and seal our porous borders in order to keep our enemy at bay. Security starts with me, security starts with you. Lets us all join hand in lynching this monster that has robbed the peace and tranquility that our country has enjoyed since time immemorial. In a nutshell, I would like to urge all citizens of good will to be wary about irrational sycophancy. These leaders who appear as nemesis in public are allies in private. We should not fall prey of their misplaced bickering. Our vulnerability in the past has cost us our lives and our property. The sons and daughters of the bourgeoisie will never go to the streets but those of the proletariat spend their time in political gatherings only to go home hungry. A food for thought Let’s say no to this gullibility. Dear Kenyans, we need to style up. Young Kenyan we are the leaders comes this evening and we are watching at a distance but we won’t be misused anymore today. Enough is Enough ..................
