It is my understanding that believers are not better than Israel. We should not even think we are different than Israel. If you are a believer in Christ, you are ISRAEL (spiritually). When we accepted their Messiah as our LORD, we were Grafted in to their tree. Gentiles believers were in total darkness, we make up whatever rules we want as they come off the top of our heads. (e.g. we think it is somehow acceptable to sleep with whoever we want to and kill innocent children that result...as long as we do it iin a doctors office) The Jewish people had the Truth of God as their foundation. They forgot it and did not practice it, but we never knew it in the first place. When we recognized the Truth of Jesus (Yeshua), we fell in love with the same God. Thus, we were adopted into THEIR family. God had brought us from nothing into equal status with His other children, the Jews. Lets not forget that. Let us embrace them as brothers in the faith and learn from them what we can regarding the God they have been serving for 3,500 years.
