It is no accident that you are GOD CONSCIOUS. JESUS is LORD. He lived and he died to Live again!!!! He did it for you! You believe it with all your heart. And yet you cant seem to wrap your mind around it. Love is an act of the heart. JESUS IS WAITING Listen with your heart. 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 2:37 they were pricked The word pierced (katenygēsan) denotes being stabbed. Realizing what they had done, the people felt conviction like a mortal wound. 2:38 Repent The word Metanoēsate denotes a change of will and actions. Peter exhorts his audience to end their hostile attitude toward Jesus, to see it as sin and embrace Him as their king.
