It is no secret that Kaizer Chiefs captain and goalkeeper - TopicsExpress

It is no secret that Kaizer Chiefs captain and goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has entered the last few months of his current deal with Amakhosi and reports suggest that the 27-year old could be on his way out of Naturena. Khune could well be looking to make the shift abroad should the opportunity avail itself as it is every players dream to grace the European stadiums at some point in their playing careers. For Chiefs supporters this may be a hard pill to swallow, however they can take solace in stand-in goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayos current form. If there was ever a perfect time for Khune to leave, it is now. Andile Jali was one of our most recent exports and his game has improved leaps and bounds ever since he had moved to Europe. The former Orlando Pirates midfielder now plies his trade for Belgian outfit KV Oostende. Jali now plays with more confidence on the ball and his eye for a pass has been polished by European techniques. ‘Itu’ definitely would improve should he make the move across the oceans and Bafana Bafana would most certainly yield the benefits, like they are with Jali. Khunes age does not give him time to move at a later stage and if he does not move at the end of this season, he might as well kiss his overseas aspirations goodbye. Do you think Khune should leave Amakhosi sooner rather than later? laduma.co.za
