It is no wonder that Microsoft fired the Windows 8 leader. These - TopicsExpress

It is no wonder that Microsoft fired the Windows 8 leader. These changes make sense. Maybe now it will be a useful operating system if you dont have a tablet. Still what I hate most about Windows 8 is that it assumes that you want everything to be connected. I am not always online. I am not always where I can be. I do not always want to be. I do not trust the cloud to be anything but my back up. I do not trust big corporations not to bend to big government and keep my information private. I do not trust big entertainment to keep the movies and music that I like from the past and small independent studios from disappearing. I reject centralization in my economics, my computing, my government, my religion, and my finances. I want the option to connect when I want to connect and not be high pressured into it. That is my rant for the week. What is yours?
