It is not an infringement on peoples rights to practice your religion, unless that practice is unreasonably intrusive... Some think of this football teams traditional monument as a graven image, others think it taints scripture because its superstitious, still others dont believe in the scriptures... But, if these ffrf/aha guys are truly seeking equal treatment under the law and their practice of their religion of: atheism, agnosticism, humanism, nihilism, etc. is research, scientific endeavor, militant rejection of religious expression (which - in and of itself is religious expression) or not praying to their not-good... Then, by extrapolation, if they are reading, studying, or not praying then that expression of their anti-faith worship should offend all of those who do pray, read scripture, sing praises, dance to Jesus (or any other entities, for that matter), worship... Its even more offensive to Muslims who are commanded in their handbook to convert our destroy unbelievers. Buddhist or Hindu beliefs probably arent too offended because so many variations in those faith traditions allow for more latitude, prosyllogism, and lacks commands such as proselytization. Thereby, ... ... Its just tome to tell these folks to stop, just stop. Do your thing and let the Christians and other religions practice their silly or not-so-silly religious rites... As long as people arent getting sacrificed or otherwise injured; nobody is forced, and bodily fluids arent randomly exchanged then why is anyone making a fuss... I could see folks upset about Baal worship, but Elijah (I Kings 18) didnt care (cause he knew their god want real and thereby could not answer) if they prayed and worshipped. Good showed up that day; I wonder if Elijahs faith was more ornament in his prayers or on his allowing pagan prayers without being intimidated, what day you?
