It is not my style to get into these internet challenges Right Vs Left Tea Vs Coffee etc etc...... What I do choose to do is call out political jerks, who throw going to war around like it is going to the local library for a book... WTF? Excuse me.... BUT WTF! Hundreds of thousands of American men and women in a VOLUNTEER MILITARY are being disregarded as to their health, safety and welfare and well as that of the families of those same children. Send Ted Cruz, send Lyndsey Graham, send Dick Cheney, send any other war mongering political jerk in the first wave of soldiers to hit the front. Those political jerks must be required to disrupt their family life, have their families move from base to base to base just to be in a place when leave is a available to have their children see daddy of mommy for a few days between tours of duty. Oh and EVERY ELECTED OFFICIAL WHO VOTES TO GO TO WAR GETS A MILITARY PAYCHECK NOT THEIR CUSHY PAY AND BENEFITS WHILE SOLDIERS ARE IN THEATER! (yes, that could be as long as 10 years as we have seen in these last wars) Fully fund the mental health facilities and veterans hospitals UPFRONT before one soldier gets deployed so they will know they have a safety net when they get home... buy the military families homes so that because when their jobs are not available when they get back they do not face a foreclosure or coming home to a home that has already been sold off by the bank. Guarantee 100% funding of college education for every child of a soldier before going to war so when mom or pop die or are maimed (unable to support their children afterward) in a firefight at least the soldier will know he/she died for a better future of their child at the least. Have at least a half million dollar life and dismemberment insurance policy on every soldier so that when bad things happen they will know they stood for their country and provided for their family to the end. Every elected official who makes the conscience effort to demand war or military action should be required to have each of their children required to serve at least 2 years in the service. NO EXCEPTION! Stop playing with peoples lives! If anyone who reads this cares anything about our military members and their families I hope you like, share, or add to the requirements you feel should be required before we kill or maim more of our VOLUNTEER MILITARY! To be clear; my position has no political leaning.... IT HAS ALL TO DO WITH STANDING UP FOR OUR MILITARY FAMILIES!
