It is not very often that I offer a set of heifers of this caliber up for sale. These heifers were born last February and March and are averaging right around 6-650#. We are Nichols Farms MIssouri Division. We sell registered angus, Simmental, and simangus bulls year round. The genetics in our cattle are maternally oriented with some carcass influence. The cow herd they come from is bred to be as efficient as possible in terms of fleshing ability, longevity, and fertility. I personally didnt start feeding hay until yesterday (Dec. 10) and the cows still look great. We are selling these calves because we did not cull out as many cows as normal this year for being open, unsound, age, or attitude, and I do not want to overload my pastures with more replacements than the ground can handle. There are both commercial calves, and calves that are cable of being registered in the Angus or Simmental association in this lot. Some are even out AI sires such as Powertool and response which pedigrees back to Final Answer 035 on the top and Coleman Donna 386 on the bottom. I am located just west of Lamar, Mo.
