It is now 1:15 in the afternoon before we all go out and vote tomorrow. It is like being 10 on Christmas Eve, anticipating the usual Sugar Plumb Fairies, St. Nick, and, all the rest, but, really, it is the image of loot that floats in the consciousness. Will my package be filled with dollar bills, or, will the post box be crammed with election expenses still to be paid? Tuesday morning will be like opening that last Christmas gift. Tomorrow, if I venture out to any parties, and, I doubt that I will, it will be with those who gave it their best but fell short. There will be no celebrating their lucrative future, they, we, will be planning to keep those elected, honest. We have to do our best to mend fences with those we stood shoulder to shoulder with, before, crossed swords with often in the past 10 months, because we are all Oshawa has if mistakes have been made that will hurt the fine old lady. Oshawa deserves the best leaders, but, she deserves us defending her. Only with our unity will Oshawa become the jewel of the GTA. Think about it, please.
