It is now OFFICIAL Skerton boxing Club coaches John Varey and Paul Pup Fielding will be taking over the running and the premises of Lancaster Boxing Academy from the 1st August. Bob and Tony are taking a well earned break from the boxing scene but may return at some point to help with the club. This is a huge step forward for Skerton Boxing Club and those associated with it. The gym is a large purpose built area and we are buying all the current equipment that is there. All Lancaster Academy boxers are welcome to stay within the club and continue to box next season. We are proud of our heritage and history at Skerton as is Bob and Tony of their achievements with the academy. We will guarantee to continue to produce the very best boxers in the Bay Area and welcome new starters or old faces back into the gym. We will train 5 nights a week and open weekends. Great news that the 2 best gyms in the area have now amalgamated as one.
